I have long been a fan of Wrox for the writing style that they incorporate into nearly all of their books. I am not knocking any other publisher, but what I enjoy the most about Wrox books is that it doesn't just tell you how to do something, but it also tells you why you do it that way. The WHY is why I buy their books. Now, I am going to have some input on this process for the new DotNetNuke® 5.0 book, currently set to come out in April '09.
As of Friday, I accepted the duty to edit at least a couple chapters of the upcoming book. I am super excited! I cannot wait! The first chapters should arrive today or tomorrow.
Since I personally know the 4 authors of this book, I can already tell you that this will be a great and "must-have" book for the next version of DotNetNuke®, but now I will be able to plug this book with first-hand knowledge of its content.
I have already been gathering tips and advice from people. SQL Saturday this weekend was a perfect place to do this. I hope to not let any of you down.
