DotNetNuke OpenForce Community Choice Awards Every year, the DotNetNuke Corporation does a great job of bringing something new to the table for the annual OpenForce events.  This year, they are holding the first annual OpenForce Community Choice Awards.  This is exciting!

Finally, the community is being drawn together for a great cause… to recognize other community members and their achievements!  There are three categories:

  • Most Creative/Original Site
  • Best E-Commerce Site
  • Best Informational Site

Any site entered into one of those three sites is also entered into a 4th category, Best Overall Site.  5 sites will be selected by the award committee to be voted on at their respective region, being OpenForce North America, or OpenForce Europe.  Entrants are told to choose their voting division.

All entrants will be entered into a drawing to win (1) of (20) DotNetNuke® branded laptop bags.  The winner from each category will win an award plaque, and recognition both at the OpenForce Conference, as well as the DNN website itself.

Unfortunately, there are no written criteria on the website for qualifications of submitted sites (unless I missed it).  We can assume that they only want sites created on the DNN framework.  And we can only assume both DNN PE and DNN CE sites are welcome.

So… What are you waiting for?  Submit your best site today!

(FYI… I submitted this site for in the “Best Informational Category” and my day job (RezHub.com) in the “Best E-Commerce Site” category. Vote for us!)

I just received an e-mail from Terry Eisman at DNN Corp. There is no criteria to include or exclude any PE or CE sites. Just make it a DNN site that you submit.
