We are only two days away from the next ODUG meeting. This one will be a biggie!

It is unbelievable that we are already at the first Orlando DotNetNuke Users Group meeting of 2009!  We are kicking this year off with a bang!  Here are some of the things to look forward to on this first meeting of the year:

  • Free food and drinks
  • After-meeting event
  • High-value door prizes
  • Outstanding speaker
  • Exceptionally relevant topic
  • Really great networking opportunities

This will be the first meeting where we will meet afterwards to have some beverages and snacks at the nearby TGI Fridays.  We are also giving away quite a few door prizes that have a value of at least $300.  Among the prizes we have: Windows Vista Ultamate, Telerik Control Suite, and Infragistics Control Suite.  We also will have some DotNetNuke modules to give away from various vendors, such as: Snapsis, OnyakTech, Smart-Thinker, and DNNMasters.

Convenient to this meeting, DotNetNuke 5 was released only 11 days ago.  And we have a DotNetNuke 5 expert, Stan Schultes to speak to us about module development on this newest version of DotNetNuke.  Among many, many other accomplishments and accolades, Stan is most notably one of the co-authors of Professional DotNetNuke 5, a Wrox book due to come out February.

Here are the event details:

  • When:  Tuesday, January 6 @ 7:00 PM (arrive early)
  • Where:  8989 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32822  [map]
  • FREE Registration:  [website]

ODUG meetings are ALWAYS free.  Register to let us know you're coming.
